Already mentioned, but sadly not the right one:
-Any entry in the Elder Scrolls series
-Sacred
-Fable
-Chosen: Well Of Souls
-Divine Divinity
-Baldur‘s Gate
-Dungeon Siege
-Drakensang
-Neverwinter Nights
So I also have a game, that I‘ve tried to find for years by now.
When visiting my uncle as a kid back in the day, he let me play a (I think) RPG on his PC, which was in top down perspective similar to The Witcher, also graphically-, and combat-wise.
I think you were able to choose from different characters, and I played as a mage casting different spells, killing pigs and other people, memories are pretty vague, though I remember it being pretty bloody.
The environment I remember seemed like a pretty typical medieval-kinda world.
Also it was not online, only singleplayer.
There‘s one more detail I can provide, even though that might not really help:
My uncle burned the game onto a disc for me back in the day, but since he wasn‘t too much of an english geek he simply named it „Battle Mage“, but no matter how many times I tried googling that name, the shown games have nothing to do with the one I played. :-/
It’s not much, but maybe one of you has an idea. 🙂
Thanks in advance!
