Okay, I started watching The Witcher at the advice of some friends. I’ve never played the games nor read the books, so I went into this not knowing anything about the story behind it all. And it was great.
But fuck me was it confusing trying to piece it all together. With the chronological order of the show not being linear, it was really difficult knowing what happens and when. I think it would be improved massively if there was some sort of timestamp between the necessary scenes so you know what’s happening, and when.
Edit: Please note that I did pay attention while watching the show, and I was piecing the different jumps together as I went along. I just wasn’t a fan of the format in which the show was produced.
